Per the movie My Best Friend is a Vampire, isn't it true that only dead vampires have to stay out of the sun, while living vampires (while being a little sensitive to the sun) have no significant problem with the sun? Meanwhile, aren't living vampires sent a vampire guidance counselor to help them adjust to becoming a living vampire and deal with their extremely long life (they age 1 year for every 10 years)?
