Like with 24 each episode is one of a 15 hour shift in the ER. I really like it so far, Wyle is very good. I saw that HBO also has all seasons of ER, which is very tempting. I can remember watching the first episode of that series (over 30 years ago, I'm feeling old).

I'm also enjoying The Pitt very much - the format allows the show to follow patient story arcs beyond one episode.
I binged ER last year - it holds up pretty well except for all the docs smoking on screen. It's really fun to spot early appearances by actors that later appeared in Grey's Anatomy, Law & Order, etc. episodes.
