My little brother (6yrs as of today) spends more time in front of the TV then we did when we were his age - but he he has whatever imagination is needed

He really loves masquerading as s/o else, and plays for hours with Lego/Duplo/cars/a wooden fortress and knights we've built for him.
Maybe children just need s/o to regularly play with them to discover how nice it can be
