The final score was the same as in the screen cap. OTOH, with 2.3 seconds left, Edmonton's Oiler star Connor McDavid took a match penalty for a crosscheck to the head of the Canucks's Conor Garland and in the kerfluffle that followed, Canuck's d-man Tyler Myers took the same penalty crosschecking the Oiler's Evan Bouchard. The on-ice officials took about 10 minutes to review and confirm the match penalties and then they gave the other 9 players on the ice minor penalties which sent all the players on the ice off to their dressing rooms. With the faceoff moved outside the blue line, the puck was dropped and 2 seconds later the game ended.
