I'm not going to add an option to turn off icons under a category.

However, you can get most of the way there by adding a template for the default. If the template returns a non-existent file name then no item values will have an icon unless overridden by some other rule. The category and the partitioning entries will still have the category icon.

I just tried it with this template

You could also do it by making an empty icon and having the template return that.
