EDIT: If anyone reads this I fixed it by I am sure what the exact process was but plugging in for a while to the laptop until it woke up and then deleting the latest book which caused the issue and a after.
Hello again guys.
I had been having happy functionality since my last post, having to charge only very sporadically every couple of months.
Last night however things went haywire!
I went to copy a pdf over like usual but when it was completed and I unplugged from the laptop the spinning arrows just stayed stuck. I tried a reset and the orange light comes on but then...reads 0 books! I am able to scroll through the reader, so it isn't locked, but it is like the whole internal memory has been wiped, not only wiped but obliterated as when I plug it in to the laptop again the drives show up except they show as 0 bytes rather the several hundred mb for the main one as it should.
What could have happened? Is it just stuck somehow or is it 'bonked'?
I am annoyed that I didn't make a backup of the books on there because when I bought it there were loads of great classics I was working through. About 40 or 50 books. I was partway through Jane Eyre and was really enjoying it. Had just finished Around the World in 80 Days.
So may have lost all those books of similar caliber I had yet to read.
Any ideas on how to proceed?
