If these eBooks are KePub, then it's the KePub that's at fault. I've never seen an issue where there are missing spaces in KOReader. But we know KePub can have missing spaces depending on which version(s) were used to convert ePub to KePub. If 3.7.1 and 3.7.2 of KoboTouchExtended were used, then there will be missing spaces. The only way to fix that is to install 3.7.3 and resend all KePub to the Kobo overwriting what already exists.
