Wouldn't surprise me too much, since a lot of the open source movement consists of utopian idealists who want to make the world a better place, but only in a very particular and perfect way that you have to adhere to to the letter. Otherwise you get harassed and sent to the gulag.
Oh, well. If it doesn't get broken, I'll just ignore it and avoid giving any money to anyone using it.
