Copy the koreader-kindle*.zip or koreader-kindle*.tar.gz** in the kindle root folder (a.k.a. /mnt/us, this is the folder that directly contains documents folder ). On the kindle, go to KUAL->KOReader->Tools->Update KOReader.

I'm getting "Try to update KOReader... message." and nothing happens, but when I then launch KOReader and go to Help > About, the KOReader version I see is the updated version.
