I was also having trouble jailbreaking my Kindle Paperwhite 6th gen, FW 5.12.2.2. I tried the winterbreak jailbreak and hotfix but then got a constant core dump debug popup.
I did a factory reset and tried again, but now the option for "Update Your Kindle" is greyed out when I put the hotfix in the root folder.
I can install MRPI and Kual, but KoReader won't load.
Thanks for the amazing work with the jailbreak! any help would be appreciated
