The series link goes with the series, so of course it shows that link for each book in the series. You are asking for a series-related link for each book in the series, specifically a link to the next book in the series. You can do that in a composite column template, finding the next highest series index. You can also do it manually, entering the next book in the reading order or whatever. Regardless, this is book data, not series data.
