Amazon is also persuading others to to be Amazon exclusive.
The Amazon published ebooks are Kindle only and not available in libraries, even on a Kindle.
And now Amazon are geoblocking purchase if you aren't in the country where the kindle is registered. Even on ebooks that are available and at same price. Makes buying when physically travelling impossible. Yet they will ship the paper versions anywhere.

Georestrictions on eBooks is ridiculous. I have US and UK accounts at Amazon and I can travel at eBooks.com and Kobo. So I don't have to worry about where the eBooks come from. At Amazon, I do have a Kindle registered in the US and UK.
