I see that now. It's severely limited, though. It's only working with a pen, you need to have pen tool selected, it's only working on a single line, and it's super easy to cross the words instead of underlining them, and that creates an unnecessary canvas template that you must then delete. I'm really disappointed in how this is implemented.
I did manage to highlight and underline a section at the same time, though. First you highlight, then you use pen with a pen tip selected, and you underline highlighted text.
