I like my KLC, but I have not tried any other fake-ink reader before.
As for the discussed battery life, the battery seems to last ok.
I charge it once a week or so when it goes below 30%.
With only 6-16% light on when darkness reading, it seems to last much longer.
I really like to use the warm light and also dark mode, it's more comfortable for the eyes. I just wish they used a full multicolored LED, because why not, it's so cheap. Then I could have gone full red light for the darkness reading.
