I've never been on a diet. But I'm a fussy eater and have never been the type who eats a lot. Also, I don't much like sweets, except for chocolate.
I have been overweight - for a few years during my mother's dementia, when I ate pretty unhealthily (lots of fries, potato chips and the like). By now I've lost all the weight I gained then (some 15kg) and am back to my usual weight (64kg at the moment). I hope I'll be able to stay this way, because I'm no longer young and losing weight will get harder the older you are.
I don't eat all that much less than I did during my "fat" years, but I do eat somewhat healthier stuff (for example, boiled potatoes instead of fries and other greasy snacks). Occasionally I still gorge myself on potato chips, but not as often as I did back then.
