It happened to me too. Did you get 'Run hotfix book' visible on your Kindle library. If not:
1. copy 'Update_hotfix_universal' and save it in 'mrpackages' in your Kindle
2. Eject & unplug
3. Execute ';log mrpi' on your Kindle to push install Hotfix
