Just to clarify. Are you asking how your Kobo will deal with the date or how this plugin will deal?

If it's about Reading Goal, you can add the book using the 'Past years' option, if it was not on your 2024's goal. If it was, but you missed the last record (the one finishing the book), then the only way would be to edit the JSON.
