I tried again with a factory reset, used Winterbreak 1.4.1 and the universal hotfix 1.9.0. But the hotfix doesn't install, when I disconnect the Kindle from the PC I get an “Update error” message and the Kindle automatically deletes the hotfix.
If it's any use, the first 6 digits of the serial number: G093L2
Fixed in v1.10.0 of the hotfix
