I find that I have a Muse M20 EX2 TA2020. It's probably the same as yours except mine doesn't have any tone controls.

I have it wired up with nice soldered banana plugs, but I noticed that the right channel dropped 20 dB or so. I'd wiggle all the inputs and outputs and eventually (but not directly) the right would kick back in. Maybe I was prejudiced against the volume control but it hasn't happened since I bypassed it. Still, I get a lot of vibration here.
