Yesterday was chilly; it didn't get above 2℃, it was also very cloudy. But at least it was dry. Today is similar, only it'll be a bit warmer 5℃.
I just read the weather expectation for next month (which I take with a pinch of salt) and they're saying the first half of January will be cold, with a chance of daytime freezing. Which means that talk about the Elfstedentocht will start today. They also predict some snow but it'll be more sunny than December (27 hours of sun so far). I'm going on vacation from the 20th until the 27th and I wouldn't mind some snowy winter weather.
