I pre-ordered mine from B&H the day that they created the listing -- was watching it like a hawk.
I haven't received it yet, obviously. I'm starting to have some doubts after the whole AI thing, but I was already planning to sandbox it and air-gap it as much as possible, so I think it'll be OK -- I definitely don't plan to log into my primary gmail account with it, so I'll sideload everything via f-droid, possibly Aurora (not sure if I can download packages from Aurora on my laptop directly w/o giving the device network access, but if I need to I'll give it a separate isolated VLAN on my home network and revoke all access via the router after any updates, etc -- I just hope that doesn't prevent me from using the screen sharing feature, which I was looking forward to using)
I'm happy to have a no-frontlight device. My use cases are notes at my well-lit desk, some journaling where I can easily use a lamp, sheet music where I already have a light on my music stands and piano, and reading large format PDF technical books, which I don't do in bed anyhow.

I started out with devices pre front-light, so I know what I'm signing up for.
