First of all, thank you for taking the time to respond to me.

The ebooks are sent to the root of the e-reader, in directories bearing the names of the authors. I have never touched this setting.
I just tested, but the result is the same. The ebook is no longer at the root of the e-reader but in an Ebooks directory, but it is still not visible on the e-reader (although I can see it clearly in Windows Explorer...)

Really the problem seems to be updating the metadata on the eReader. I no longer see the little progress bar indicating its update on the Libra 2...

Can you tell me how to disable the Kobo driver and leave only the KoboTouch / KoboTouchExtended drivers please?

I take note of your remark about storing the library on the NAS, I will move it right away.

Oh yes, and I already checked the database via KoboUtilities, and it tells me that the database is clean.
I have already reset the e-reader 3 times, I don't think the problem is with the database. Or Caliber corrupts it immediately...
