Thanks for the suggestion. It didn't work for me, unfortunately, possibly because I haven't updated Calibre (I'm on ver 6.14.1). I tend to resist updates unless a new version has something I really really want or something essentially is really really broken. Otherwise, I get nervous that an update might break something I depend on heavily.

Since I'm using the portable version, however, it occurs to me that I could set up a portable later version for testing and, if I encounter no problems with it, update my working version. But I haven't found the time to make sure I have time to take the care to do it as safely as possible (multiple backups, etc.)
