If your computer mounts the Kobo properly, you should see it as a drive in This PC. On my Windows 11 computer, the drive is called KOBOeReader (G:). The letter & : after the name is the drive letter.

The likely cause of your problem is using an old version of calibre that does not support the Clara BW (calibre 7.7.0 was released in early March, 2024 while the Clara BW was released in April, 2024. So update your calibre install.

I'd suggest downloading and installing the latest calibre preview: calibre-64bit-7.22.101.msi.
