Well we've tried a few sous vide meals; steak cooked in the sous vide, then rested and seared. Yummy. No smoke in the house (which in my friends eyes is a big plus in the winter).

And your basic hard boiled eggs. Yummy again.

What I like about either is the simple repeatability of the technique.

So far using America's Test Kitchen Sous Vide for Everybody.
