Hi all,
I'm a Moonreader+ veteran, and occasionally I find a minor quibble and head to this forum. Usually a search finds an answer, not this time though..
I always catalog 'book information' (tags, author etc) when I add a new book and lately I've been forced to 'choose' between authors because there doesn't seem to be a way to make authors searchable on books that they co-author. For example, I have 7 books by Jane Doe, 5 by Joe Bloggs, and 4 that were co-authored by both. For those last batch of books I have to make a choice between:
1. Jane Doe
2. Joe Bloggs
3. Jane Doe & Joe Bloggs
The third option comes with the caveat that I won't see these books when I click on either author's name in Moonreader.
I have tried typing in the author field:
1. Jane Doe & Joe Bloggs
2. Jane Doe; Joe Bloggs
3. Jane Doe, Joe Bloggs
4. (on 2 separate lines)
Jane Doe
Joe Bloggs
.. but all result in a third author (eg "Jane Doe & Joe Bloggs"). It means that any books they do together are excluded when I tap on either name.
I know I can settle for manually searching for the author name as a a general term in the overall description, but this can be really inconvenient if I also have lots of other books in my library with descriptions like "The best study on >SUBJECT< since Jane Doe!"
Does anyone know if there is a workaround for this?
Thanks in advance!
