All the LEDs I threw at it show effectively open circuit at reverse 10 V (12V - 2V) even with a desk lamp on them. The one that didn't was an ultraviolet LED that apparently had already blown through. Blue and UV are the most prone to static.

I'm not allowed to play with over 12 V.
