Remember. I only started experiencing these problems after upgrading. My Kobo LC wasn’t anywhere near the magnetic clasp of the bag, and I’ve been carrying around the two of them together since I got the LC last Spring. Nothing has been different in my setup than what I’ve described, and, as I already mentioned, I have an official Kobo sleep cover. Is this behavior a coincidence? Perhaps, but it’s suspicious.

I appreciate all the good suggestions, though. That’s what’s great about this community.

Instead of doing that, I removed the sleep cover entirely. I can report that after a day there have been no aberrant last page read moments. But I also haven’t been carrying my Kobo LC around with me.

I don’t like having no protection for my reader, so I’ll be disabling automatic sleep so that I can still use the cover. I’ll give it another day of typical use with the disabled cover and see if there are any more incidents.

I appreciate knowing that I’m not the only one who has encountered this issue. Just to verify, these issues began for you with this firmware update?
