Well, something’s going on, and although others may not be having this issue, I didn’t have it either until the most recent firmware. After I posted above, I put my Kobo in my carry bag, but didn’t touch it. Ten hours later, the most recently opened book went from 1% to “Finished”.

I’ll remove the Kobo sleep cover (official one purchased from them) and see what happens.

I wonder what the warranty is on the sleep covers. We’re over six months since I purchased it, but if the problem goes away without the cover, I may reach out to Kobo. Odd that this didn’t start happening until after I upgraded, though.
