I quit using small MP3 players awhile back because I'm not out and about long enough to make it worthwhile. It's just easier to listen to music.
Currently, I only listen to audiobooks at home. For Audible, I use one of my Echos. For all other audiobooks, I use an old cellphone.

This is the issue, not everyone wants to listen on a cellphone but they are forcing this with Libby. I can still get MP3 files from LibroFM rather than Audible but still have to pay for them.
It just seems that as soon as they realize they can restrict people's access then that's what they are going to do. It's all about them making money.
I will bet it is going to hurt some libraries with fewer checkouts but I'm sure Overdrive doesn't care.
