Entering a few characters doesn't help when I remember absolutely nothing about the author, title or series, only the genre and vaguely what the synopsis was about. Not too unusual for me. I could enter characters for an hour and still not get the right result.

I have the same problem. Most of the time, I may remember the storyline, but do not remember the title or author to search.
