I just now was able to download an ebook from Kobo to ADE 2.0 then drag the new ebook from the ADE 2.0 Library to the Kobo ereader and it appears to be on the Kobo ereader in good shape.

This suggests that the ADE 2.0 folder was corrupted and the new folder might allow ADE 2.0 to start working like it should.

Any thoughts?

Fingers crossed.
I faced a similar issue with ADE 4.5. The solution was indeed to rename the ADE folder to force ADE to re-create one and it worked again.
