We don't know what the OP wants to do. We've given the facts about the PW6. Now it's up to the OP to decide.
One thing we don't know yet is if the 2024 Kindles have the problem of Amazon deleting side loaded eBooks from them.
When I installed 5.17.1 on a PW5, the page turns were faster. I don't know if the PW6 is faster or not.
For me, I would want to edit Kindle eBooks. I find there to be some problems with them that I want to fix. For example, a 7% indent is too much and I want to add hyphens because I'd prefer reading KF8 because I do not like the forced line height of KFX.

i back up my kindle books using calibra its only way i know how
i like the the 11th gen paperwhite signature edition comes in blue
the 12th i believe doesn’t.
i also have had problems sending to kindle so i us calibra to convert my doc to kindle format as haven’t figured out how to do it any other way yet.
i wanted extra memory as the comics i download take up more room
also want a flush screen to case
but ive heard the paperwhite signature edition 12 gen dont do things the paperwhite signature 11gen can and that where im getting confused i think
so i need the paperwhite signature edition to work with
calibre
libby
6.8 screen
32gb as dont think 16gb will hold comics without slowing down
it doesnt come in blue ( which is my favourite cololur)
and im guessing the paperwhite signature edition 11 gen should cost less than the 12 gen
thats a few reasons i was thinking about the paperwhite signature edition 11 gen would be better
