This seems to do the trick:

Go to the Style tweaks menu, long-press on 'Book-specific tweak' and enter the following line:

Code:

li.para-en[id] { -cr-hint: footnote-inpage; }

Then press 'Apply'.

For more information on how to do this yourself on the next book where in-page footnotes don't appear automatically, read this thread:

(Granted, this book took me a few trials for it to work, so it can be a bit tricky.)
