This has bought a wish list item to mind. I'd like to have another attribute for columns: 'Long name'.

I'd use it for 'icon' columns such as this. I have a several long text columns that I cloak with icons. Example: I have a #checklist/CL column, that contains a URL to a Onenote page in an <a href>Text</a> tag .

In the Book details I show the <a> tag text; but, in this context the "CL" looks weird. So, I use a virtual column with template {#checklist} -- #checklist_virtual/Checklist, .

If columns had a 'Long name' attribute I could drop the virtual columns.
