Those have a great track record. and only the PI Creator or Moderators can update Post 1 (the current release, that Get Plugins will use)

In addition, there may be Trial versions in the thread dedicated to that PI. THESE ARE LABELED and must be manually fetched and Manually installed from Preferences: Plugins screen.

Believe me, when a PI misbehaves (code error), The howls in the dedicated thread will be seen AFAIK No malicious code has been distributed thru this process.

Also, these plugins are just TEXT Python code. You can unzip (The Zip IS the PI Package that Calibre requires) and read the code for yourself.
