By start over do you mean I should do a factory reset?
If so the new database will be blank though, so I will be copying a blank database over unless I've misunderstood. if I remember correctly you get stuck on the registration screen until you either register or manipulate the database to think its registered. At least that's how I remembered it, I couldn't actually get past that initial registration screen until I manipulated the database. Let me know thanks mate
