Calibre library shows I gotten 472 books so far in 2024, 248 of them read. 208 were fanfics, ~150 were eBook purchases (more than any other year before), the rest an assortment of library books, free giveaways, public domain stuff, game manuals, and paper books I'd never gotten around to cataloging before.
Note that this
not include some physical books I purchased (wanted to finish an out-of-print series)... I made the mistake of ordering them before the Canada Post strike.
Since
Prolific.com lifted the block on my ISP and my cat-related expenses were cut in half (
) I've had more discretionary income.
