lot of the time I don't need the light with my Libra 2. But I don't want a Reader where I do need the light all the time.
Otherwise there is Nxtpaper 40, 10 (Nxtpaper 1), 11 (Nxtpaper 2) & 14 (Nxtpaper 3). Mono novels on Nxtpaper (2 or 3) are as good as Libra, Libra2 and Sage with their lights on. Those eink are only better for mono than Nxtpaper (2 or 3) with front light off and nice ambient light you could read a newspaper or non-POD paperback with.

The Nxtpaper 14 (14.25") is fabulous for unavailable PD works that are PDF scans. The 3:2 aspect nice for two pages in Pocketbook app (PDF or epub content) which can crop excess PDF margin. Similar or better battery life to Oasis or Sage (with light off on the eink).
