Somehow it's not surprising, seems stores are trying to rip people off with their Cyber Monday "sales" this year.

My original battery swelled up on me and I'm not sure that replacement's really a genuine Samsung battery. It's damn near impossible to find legit ones nowadays. At least I was able to get a good quality one for my Galaxy S8 from iFixit. Normally I wouldn't try a battery replacement on a sealed phone like that, but I think I can manage it since the battery swelling up popped the case open for me. Kind of it to do that. Now I just need to actually get around to doing it...

For my music player I don't want it to have cellular service. I keep it disconnected from Wi-Fi most of the time so my Spotify random play on it and on my desktop can be separate from each other. I try to remember to turn on Wi-Fi overnight every other week or so to let it redownload anything that's expired. And I agree on the non-replaceable battery. Not thrilled about that.
