Hi there. My Kobo Clara HD N249 seems to be bricked. It wouldn't boot and would just show the three dots endlessly. After many attempts at charging, resetting, etc. I eventually took off the back cover and removed the SD card to have a look at it on a computer, as I suspected it was corrupted.
On my Windows PC, after plugging in the card, there were a ton of events about IO operations retried. Windows Explorer got stuck. I also tried using Disk Utility on my Mac to perform first aid, but all I got was the spinning beach ball when clicking on the KOBOeReader partition :/ So, I think this is physical media failure.
I'll need to set up a new SD card for my Clara HD. Could somebody please PM me a link to a suitable image? Thank you kindly.
