With me, it's the slow match of changes MS has been implementing. Ads and trackers in the OS, requirements for an online account. Other stuff I'm not thinking of right now.

Depending on what you're looking for, you might look into LibraryThing or BookWyrm. BookWyrm is to Goodreads as Mastodon is to Twitter.
