We used to have a bookstore chain called De Slegte, which had new books (often bargain books) and a big selection of secondhand books, both antique book and regular fiction. I've found some great bargains there.

I see De Slegte is still operating, but with only three stores. So it looks like I need to plan a day out to one of those cities soon.
I miss the carousel of books we used to get in post offices here in the UK, they were usually books from smaller publishing houses so were generally from more unknown authors, in fact Im looking at a book I bought from my local (long gone) post office from said carousel right now - a horror novel called Neighbors by Maureen S Pusti!
