Sideload is just connecting the Kobo via USB, responding on the Kobo to the prompt "Connect or cancel".

You'll then see a new drive letter on the PC (might be F).

If you use calibre you can then just right click on a book in your library and select "Send to main memory" and bingo it's done. Just eject the device (right click on send to device in main menu and select eject).

If you don't use calibre just copy the book via file manager to the device. I'd suggest making a folder called Books on the F drive and copying the books there.

Always try to do a clean eject if the device; either from within calibre or from the Windows System tray.

When the device has been ejected it should display a message that it's scanning for and processing new content
