And unlike you I tend not to state stuff as facts and absolute truth when I don't have concrete knowledge about if something 100% works of doesn't work in some specific case of specific software build.
To my knowledge beta testing was done before 5.17. was released. Further testing is currently being done by the jailbreak author @HackerDude.
He can if he wishes to bother answering your questions give you more up to date info. But we all already know that next thing you would do is ask "how about 5.18" + in all other threads you keep replying to you would still continue writing that there is no jailbreak and "No idea if it will be possible."
