Problems copying files in bulk to device

Hi. I'm setting up a new Kobo device and want to copy the bulk of my library - 6k books - to it. I am using KOreader to connect wirelessly to calibre, at which point I select the books I want to copy, and hit Send to device.

I have found that there were a number of issues with this process, some of which where PEBKAC but possibly not all. I'm not at the machine where I do this right now, so unhelpfully I can't offer examples of the errors I was getting. The gist though was that the copy would work for a number of files, and then fail. I tried to batch the file set up into smaller chunks, but even this proved problematic. Any failure would cause the entire batch copy to fail.

I guess my question for now would be, is there a way to perform a bulk Send to device operation, where any failures were treated as warnings rather than errors, and the load therefore allowed to proceed to the next book.

I'm aware that I should attach examples of the error but I got so cheesed off that I copied the library using other means instead. I just feel that this operation should have been well with calibre's immednse capability.
