here is a guide I found on reddit:
Step 1:
Make sure your kindle's firmware is updated to the latest available. Go here to check the latest available version for your specific device. Note: This step is essential, as older kindles won't connect to wifi unless they are running the latest firmware.
Step 2:
Log in with your Amazon account as normal, for the purposes of this explanation, lets assume Tony is registering a kindle keyboard, he would then type his email and password, like so:
Quote:
email: tony[at]domain.com
password: Password1
|
At the end of this step you should get a prompt saying that said Amazon account does not exist or something similar, ignore this.
Step 3:
This step varies depending on whether or not you have two factor authentication (2FA) on, in any case you WILL receive a six-digit one time passcode delivered to your account's associated mobile number. For the sake of this example let us assume the code is 654321.
so, If you have 2FA ON: log in again, only this time do it adding the six digit code at the end of you password.
Quote:
email: tony[at]domain.com
password: Password1654321
|
or, if you DON'T have 2FA on, simply replace your password with the code
Quote:
email: tony[at]domain.com
password: 654321
|
Step 4:
You are in, now restart your device. This is not strictly necessary but sometimes the kindle won't show your archive or download ebooks until being restarted.
