Thank you for the info. I'm glad that I don't really care about anything Kindle because they do as much as they can to muddy the waters.

So, if I have this straight, the Paperwhite 6 is a 7" device and the 12th generation. Moreover, Amazon itself never mentions 6 or 12th on its product page.
