Have you tried using ADE's send to computer/device instead? Where are you dragging/dropping the file? Is it in a directory that would be visible to Nickel? AFAIR, ADE will copy the epub to the Digital Editions directory in the root of the exposed partition. Once your Forma is safely ejected, Importing Content should run and the book should appear in your Books.
