Winning while watching my neighbour's computer update. We suspect one of his children visited a dubious site and the computer ended up getting a nasty infection which I was asked to help deal with. Ended up mounting the drive in my computer and scanning it for malware. 3 hours later, ~9400 items were removed and we pulled an image backup. After mounting the drive back into his computer, it booted happily. Except that I then realized that no Windows or other updates had been done in ~2 years. So now we are watching it through multiple update cycles (hardware, software, Windows). At least the coffee is good and I charge less than the Geek Squad.
